When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account.
To provide our email management service, Moat accesses your Gmail inbox. This includes email metadata (sender, recipient, subject, date) and email content. We use this data solely to organize your inbox and manage labels on your behalf.
Moat uses your email data exclusively to power the features you interact with — inbox organization, label management, and email categorization. We do not sell, rent, or share your email content with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest to protect your information. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel and automated systems necessary to provide the service.
Moat integrates with Google APIs to access your Gmail account. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Upon deletion, we remove your personal information and revoke our access to your Google account. You may also revoke Moat's access directly from your Google Account permissions at any time.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the email address associated with your account or through a notice within the service.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, reach out to us at privacy@moat.gg.
